Refurbished DJI Mavic Pro Drone

The DJI Mavic Pro is a small yet powerful drone that turns the sky into your creative canvas easily and without worry, helping you make every moment an aerial moment. Its compact size hides a high degree of complexity making it one of DJI's most sophisticated personal flying camera.

The Mavic from DJI packs features you once thought possible only on much larger platforms into a compact quadcopter that is snappy, agile, and captures high-resolution images. The drone features an advanced flight control system that draws on a host of sensors — including a ground-facing camera, ultrasound, GPS, dual redundant IMUs, and more — to keep track of where it is flying in 3D space and even avoid collisions. The Mavic works in tandem with DJI's GO mobile app for accessing settings, getting a telemetry readout, viewing a low-latency video feed, and even editing and sharing your footage. In addition traditional joystick style controls, you can fly with simple tap-based commands, and the Mavic can even recognize gestures for the perfect selfie.

Mavic Pro Quadcopter

The DJI Mavic Pro is a small yet powerful drone that turns the sky into your creative canvas easily and without worry, helping you make every moment an aerial moment. Its compact size hides a high degree of complexity that makes it one of DJI’s most sophisticated flying cameras ever. 24 high-performance computing cores, an all-new transmission system with a 4.3mi (7Km) range, 4 vision sensors, and a 4K camera stabilized by a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, are at your command with just a push of your thumb or a tap of your finger.

Mavic Pro Quadcopter

Powerful

Fly for miles. From your pocket.
Inside the Mavic’s pocket-sized remote controller is DJI’s brand new OcuSync transmission technology, with a range of 4.3mi (7km) and Full HD 1080p video streaming.

OcuSync is an all new DJI designed long range transmission technology capable of up to 4.3mi (7km)* of transmission range, HD 720p long range, and Full HD 1080p short range video streaming – far surpassing the capabilities of any Wi-Fi transmission system. Every time you fly, OcuSync scans a range of available frequencies to find and use the one with the least interference to give you more reliability and control. Tightly integrated with DJI GO, OcuSync transfers vital statistics of the Mavic to you in real time, and can also be used to download photos and videos while you fly at a maximum speed of up to 40Mb/s.
*FCC compliant, without obstacles or interference.

No Bumps and Scrapes

When you know what’s in front of you, you won’t bump into it. The same is true of the Mavic. Using FlightAutonomy it can see obstacles as far away as 49ft (15m) in front, so that it can fly at up to 22mph (36kph) while avoiding the things it sees.

FlightAutonomy is the Mavic’s brain and nervous system, a complex network of hardware and software that includes 5 cameras, GPS&GLONASS, a pair of ultrasonic range finders, redundant sensors, and a group of 24 powerful, specialized computers to process and fuse all of this information. As the Mavic flies, it scans the world around it, creating a 3D map that tells it exactly where it can fly and what it needs to avoid. Because it uses vision processing, it can see up to 98ft (30m) in front and can accurately measure distance up to 49ft (15m) in front, making it significantly more accurate than sonar based avoidance technologies. When the Mavic detects an obstacle and sees a way around it, it will simply adjust its route to fly around it. If it can’t see a way around, it will slow to a stop gently and hover until you tell it what to do next.

This obstacle avoidance system is activated in every Intelligent Flight Mode including all ActiveTrack modes, TapFly and Terrain Follow. If you use automatic Return to Home, it switches on too, so that as the Mavic makes its way back to you, it won’t bump into anything in its path.

Mavic Pro Quadcopter

Absolute Precision

FlightAutonomy technology means the Mavic can hover precisely in more environments, and automatically land almost exactly where you took off.

Drawing on the FlightAutonomy system, the Mavic is able to position itself accurately in almost any environment, far surpassing the capabilities of basic “optical flow” systems that depend on a single downward facing camera and assume that the ground below is always flat. FlightAutonomy allows the Mavic to see in 3-dimensions and react to it, ensuring it hovers steadily, whether it is high up on the side of a cliff where downward sensors have no target, or under a forest canopy where satellite positioning is blocked and the ground is covered in uneven markings and obstacles.

Precision Landing technology now means the Mavic is able to automatically land almost exactly where you took off. Powered by FlightAutonomy, every time you take off, the two downward facing vision sensors record a burst of video of the ground below and pair it with satellite coordinates. When you tell the Mavic to fly home, it will return to that coordinate, match the video, and land back at your feet.

Stay Flying Longer

Why fly for 10 or 15 minutes when you can fly for up to 27? With the Mavic you can.

Custom designed high energy density batteries, an intensely efficient optimized propulsion system and advanced power management systems give the Mavic a much longer flight time than you would expect from its compact size, capable of reaching an absolute max flight time of 27 minutes*. In regular use, you can expect flight times of approximately 21 minutes.
*Tested in a lab under optimum conditions

Mavic Pro Quadcopter

Use Every Single Pixel

The Mavic is the only drone of its size to carry an integrated high-precision 3-axis mechanical camera stabilization system, giving you crystal clear photos and smooth videos, without losing a single pixel.

Image stabilization and camera drones go hand in hand, because without it, your photos may blur and your videos will jerk. The Mavic carries an expertly miniaturized camera stabilization system known as a 3-axis gimbal. Using three specially miniaturized brushless motors and advanced algorithms, the camera moves in the opposite direction to the Mavic, cancelling out unwanted movement, and leaving you with incredibly smooth video. Unstabilized cameras simulate this effect digitally by cutting into the image captured. A 4K video may be cut to HD, a quarter of its size, and an HD video would drop to a much lower quality that makes the video hard to watch. By stabilizing the whole camera, the Mavic gives you your whole image while maintaining 100% of the quality the camera sensor can capture.

Mavic Pro Quadcopter

Creative

True 4K video. No compromises.

When you have a 4K sensor, you expect 4K results without compromises. Every shot you take with the Mavic Pro can be up to 4K, captured at 30 frames per second.

The Mavic Pro camera records true 4K video — four times the size of 1080p — at 30 frames per second and Full HD 1080p at 120 frames per second, so you can create incredible slow motion. Its minimum focusing distance is just 19in (0.5m), making it perfect for everything from the ultimate dronie to once in a lifetime landscapes.

Mavic Pro Quadcopter

Shoot like a pro. Automatically.

You will not need a film crew when you fly the Mavic because all you need is ActiveTrack. Just tell it who to track and it handles the rest, making you shoot like a pro

Trace – Follow behind or in front of your subject, or circle it as it moves.
Profile – Fly alongside your subject.
Spotlight – Keep the camera trained on your subject while you fly almost anywhere.

ActiveTrack uses deep learning, computer vision and advanced autonomous flight strategies to make complex, creative shots as simple as possible with just a tap. No GPS bracelets, no transmitters. The Mavic has been trained to detect and recognize a number of common subjects including people, bike riders, vehicles and even animals.

Once you have marked your subject, you can fly around them to create a huge variety of shots depending on the mode you are in. Choose from Trace, Profile or Spotlight, to give every scene you shoot that professional touch. As the Mavic is tracking, you can even select exactly where you want them in the frame, for more control over your final shot.

Photos With Altitude

Everyone loves a good photo. Whether you just want to take a snap or are building up your portfolio, the Mavic’s 12-megapixel camera with Adobe DNG RAW support is ready to shoot.

Every photo you take with the Mavic can be as big as 12 megapixels. Combined with an image sensor that has been expertly tuned for aerial images, all you need to do is find the perfect subject. You can even flip the camera 90° for portrait oriented shots, just like you do with your phone. If you are as concerned about editing as you are about composition, you can capture every photo in Adobe DNG RAW to give you all the editing power you need to turn any photo into a work of art.

Mavic Pro Quadcopter

Get In The Frame

Get selfies like you’ve never seen before with Gesture Mode. With the Mavic in the air pointing at you, a gesture is all it takes to take a photo.

Now you can put away your controller and phone to get that perfect, natural selfie. All you need to do is put the Mavic in Gesture Mode and walk in front of it. The Mavic will automatically detect you. Raise your arms or wave to it to make it follow you, and when you’re ready for your photo, make a box shape with your fingers. The lights under the Mavic’s front arms will start to flash, and you will have three seconds to strike your pose before it takes a photo.

Mavic Pro Quadcopter

Finely Tuned Control

If you are lining up a photo, or even flying indoors, you don’t want to fly quite so fast. Flip on Tripod Mode and every move the Mavic makes becomes precise and slow.

Tripod Mode drops the Mavic’s maximum speed to just 2.2mph (3.6kph), and the control stick sensitivity of the remote controller is dulled to give you the precision you need for accurate framing. It is also great for flying indoors in small spaces where the Mavic’s normal speed may make it more challenging to fly.

Fun

Fly By Phone

Maybe all you want to do is grab a quick dronie, set up tracking to shoot a friend, or even just head skywards for a quick flight. All you need is your phone.

Sometimes a phone is all you need to fly. Not only does the Mavic support flying on your phone with Virtual Joysticks, but you also have full access to all of its Intelligent Flight Modes — TapFly, Trace, Spotlight, Profile and Circle. Using just your phone, you can capture photos and video so incredible, that no one will believe you did it by tapping a screen.!

A Tap Is All It Takes

Flying could not be any easier, all you have to do is tap where you want to go. There is no better way to give your friends and family a taste of flying, while you stay in complete control.

The Mavic is smart. When you tap on your phone’s screen, advanced algorithms translate that simple touch into an exact direction, including whether you want it to climb or descend. When you want to change direction, just tap somewhere else on your screen and the Mavic will smoothly turn to the new destination. As you fly, its onboard obstacle sensing systems are constantly scanning in front of it, keeping it away from any obstructions, freeing you up to admire the view.

At Your Command

The Mavic acts on your every instruction instantly. Whether you want to shoot a slow, graceful flowing shot, or get your blood pumping with the 40mph (65kph) Sport Mode.

The slightest movement of your fingers on the Mavic’s control sticks is translated almost immediately into movement in the air, so you know instantly that you are in complete control. Its powerful motors and expertly optimized propellers, provide more power than you would expect for its size, making it able to fly smoothly in up to 24mph (38.5kph) winds.

Sport Mode was designed for fun, giving the Mavic a top speed of 40mph (65kph), all the while ramping up agility and responsiveness, to give you a taste of drone racing. You can also use it to film something fast, or zip out to catch a shot before the moment passes. Even in Sport Mode, the Mavic will stop instantly if you let go of the controls, so no matter how fast you go, you can stop at any time.

See The World Like A Bird

Fly with a turn of your head and see the world from the eyes of a bird when you wear the super high quality wireless DJI Goggle.

DJI Goggle make flying totally immersive, putting two lifelike 1080p LTPS displays with a wide 85°angle of view for a true bird’s eye view of the world around you. Built-in OcuSync connectivity means that it links directly to the Mavic, and not through a cable or a Wi-Fi link to the controller. This seamless connection gives it an incredible 120 milliseconds of delay*. * Near field, no interference

Mavic Pro Quadcopter

If you start shooting a video that just cannot wait to be shared, go ahead and stream it live to Facebook or YouTube so no one misses out.

Worry-Free

Twice the sensors. Twice as reliable.

On a drone, the most likely source of a problem is a sensor not working exactly as it should. This is why the Mavic has two of each key sensor. If one goes wrong, the other kicks in to take its place.

In flight, the Mavic uses its compass to tell it where it is heading and the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) to tell it how it is flying. An interruption in the data flow from either of these may cause it to fly less reliably, which is why the Mavic has not one, but two of each. Whenever the system detects an inconsistency in one, it switches to the other, keeping your flight steady and reliable.

Mavic Pro Quadcopter

Level Headed

Stay at the same level height above the ground automatically. Don’t worry about flying too low, the Mavic will keep you at just the right height over uneven terrain.

When you are flying over changing terrain, like following bikers riding uphill, the Mavic’s Terrain Follow function uses height information gathered by the onboard ultrasonic system, and its downward facing cameras to keep you flying at the same height above the ground even as the ground moves. Just set the height from the ground you want — from 9ft (0.3m) to 33ft (10m) — and focus on getting the right shot.

Easier, Smarter, Safer Batteries.

Before DJI Intelligent Flight Batteries, powerful drone batteries could be unreliable. But with their own integrated brains, DJI batteries are as easy and safe to use as a regular rechargeable.

DJI Intelligent Flight Batteries were designed to make using LiPo batteries as easy as using a rechargeable double A. Each one has its own integrated battery management system that takes into account everything from remaining voltage, amount of power being used, temperature and more, to calculate remaining flight times, so you always know when to head home.

It also has a host of protection mechanisms in place to prevent overcharging and over draining, both of which can damage a LiPo battery permanently. When placed in longer term storage, LiPo batteries should only be kept at 50% charge. Any more or less could cause permanent damage. If left unused, DJI Intelligent Flight Batteries will discharge power until 50% to maintain good health.

If you live in a cold place or plan to fly on a winter break, low temperature protection will activate. This controls available propulsion power based on the temperature of the battery, so that only a fully warmed up battery can offer full power. This too serves to give you a longer lasting battery.

A Glance Is All You Need

Through the DJI GO app you see everything the camera sees, as well as everything you need to know about your Mavic, from battery life to where it is, to where it is heading and much more.

DJI GO is your Mavic’s control center. When your phone or device is connected to the Mavic, it shows you everything the camera sees in near real-time, so you can set up and frame every shot as if you are actually there. It also gives you full manual camera controls for photos and videos, including ISO, shutter and file format. It even lets you fine tune your Mavic so that it flies exactly how you want it to.
